I had the pleasure of working with Bernard during my time in the Women Leadership Program cohort 2 (WLP '22) of EIC. Bernard was always honest and open with us, which made it easy to talk through our challenges and work together to find solutions. He was a skilled pilot, constantly challenging us to reveal critical assumptions and points that needed attention. This iterative process allowed us to make significant progress in a relatively short amount of time, and I am confident that we wouldn't be where we are today without Bernard's support and approach. I had the chance to be coached by Bernard during a 2-year executive leadership coaching programme (2020-2021). Bernard guided me through the different development tools he offers. The "Immunity to Change" tool was particularly impactful for me as it allowed me to resolve some of my own limitations and beliefs. The AQAL model "All Quadrants All Lines" also helped me a lot to see the big picture. Bernard has helped me to grow in my leadership role, to better understand how I function and to put into words who I am and what I value as a human being. Through this programme, I have grown in my self-awareness and my leadership skills; and I have also fully realized how important it is to make time for my own development and for organizational reflections. Bernard was the coach of Pharmacelera’s top management for the SME Instrument EU program. He showed a lot of energy during all sessions and he was very good at observing us as a team and providing insights and propose exercises to improve our work as such. Although we agreed on an initial agenda, Bernard was very sharp and flexible to perceive our needs after our first face-to-face conversations and adapt it. We were very happy with the outcome of the coaching sessions and his proposed follow-up actions.

It is easier to work now as we are much better aware of our strengths and weaknesses and it helps us to plan how our future team members will fill the existing gaps. In the meantime we are mitigating our weakness through collaboration internally and also with external co-workers. All of these was possible with a two day team facilitation meeting with Bernard. When I was a basketball coach our young players were constantly asking for solutions to specific game situations. Instead, I always focused on providing principles to read any aspect of the game autonomously, on the ground. Well, this is what Bernard does for your leadership development. We worked with Bernard when our company was rapidly growing which alone is a huge strain but for us it was particularly difficult because we were mostly scientists with no previous business experience. I completed an executive coaching assignment with Bernard in 2008-9. I found Bernard to be excellent in his field with a wealth of background material and techniques to hand and a very in-depth knowledge of the subject matter.

Bernard worked closely with me over an 8 month period on an Executive Coaching assignment. I found Bernard's approach to be insightful, thought-provoking and to the point. We just had a two-day session with Bernard. The first day on devising a marketing plan and the second on sales coaching. There are 2 things I liked about Bernard's approach. One is that he coached us to be accountable and measurable and secondly his approach is action-oriented. Its early days on the results but he has set us off energised and directed.
